Use a VPN. Streaming happens in your browser, not on our servers — your device joins
the swarm directly, so your IP address is visible to other peers exactly as it would be in any
torrent client. We never store, transcode or host any media.
Search every major index at once and open the result right here —
films, TV, music and images. Nothing to install, nothing to
queue, and no media stored on our servers. Public search results are cached for faster repeat searches.
1 · Search or paste
One query fans out across every configured indexer. Results are grouped by title, so one
film is one poster with a quality picker — not forty near-identical rows.
2 · Press play
Your browser joins the swarm and starts at the first byte it needs, so playback begins
long before the file is complete.
3 · It plays on your machine
Pieces are verified and decoded on your own device. We never transcode or keep a copy of your media. Search metadata stays cached so the next search starts faster.
Get the app
Tester builds, straight from GitHub. Store versions are on the way — until then these
install directly.
Applied before the page is drawn, so switching costs no flash of the
other one. The player and the page reader stay dark in every theme on
purpose — a bright surround changes how the picture inside it looks,
which is why cinemas are painted black.
Cover size
How big the artwork is, in the search grid and in every discover row.
Large is for a television across a room; small fits more of the
catalogue on screen at once.
Motion
Picture
Nostalgia TV and most of archive.org is 320×240 to 496×368 — old
television, at the size it was broadcast. Filling scales it up to a
whole-number multiple and asks for crisp edges rather than a smeared
one; it never crops, and it never touches a source that is already
large.
Behaviour
Game player
Which player an archive.org game starts in, when both can run it. You
can still switch mid-game from the bar above the picture.
Language
Music results are filtered to English unless you say otherwise — that is
the server's default, and this is where it is stated rather than
implied. An item that says nothing about its language is always kept:
most of the Live Music Archive never filled the field in. This also
picks which subtitle track comes up first.
Results
Saved filters
Sort order, minimum seeders, size, quality and codec are remembered per
category, because "at least 40 seeders" is a sentence about a swarm and
means nothing about an archive.org concert. This is everything this
browser is currently holding.
Server
Leave this blank to use whichever server delivered this page — which is why a copy you host
yourself needs no setting up at all.
Add-ons
Yarr.It speaks the Stremio add-on protocol, so add-ons written for Stremio
work here — in a browser, with nothing to install. Paste an add-on's
manifest URL.
Your services
Connect the Radarr, Jellyfin, Plex, Komga or RomM you run yourself. No account, ever —
this list lives in this browser and nowhere else, so a machine you have never signed in
on still reaches your own setup.
A key or token you type here is saved in this browser's own storage and sent only to
the address you gave. It is never sent to yarrit.com, and it is never written into a link.
Account
Optional. Everything else in here works signed out and always will — this is
only for a shelf that follows you between devices, and for pairing a TV.

What this browser is holding
All of it is local. Nothing here has ever been sent to yarrit.com, there
is no account behind any of it, and clearing your browser's site data
removes the lot. Listed so that "it remembers things" is something you
can check rather than something you have to take on trust.
Elsewhere
Firmware you supplied and any offline sources are kept in this browser's
database rather than in the list above; your browser's own "clear site
data" is what removes those.
